I have not used journals in so long. I have been quite busy this summer... Work most of the day Monday-Wednesday, chores, errands, spontaneous days of working in the yard, entertaining a friend who comes over to work for us so he doesn't have to work all day for his father and not get paid... We also went on a trip to Yellowstone a while ago that was a fun trip we will be talking about for a long time.
Nothing really new gaming wise, I was playing Assassins Creed Syndicate, it is actually a pretty good one but I need to dive back in I haven't played it in over a month.
I want to start drawing again but I don't want to draw too much for myself maybe a picture or two to get in the flow but I want to draw for friends really -hug- If you could shout out your favorite drawing music or movies for background noise I wouldn't mind trying to listen to them.
To Be Drawn For:
Work on my world has been slow... I have wanted to focus on the races which I have been doing with and working on written info for places rather than mapping them out because I believe I have the locations of things pretty fleshed out I just want to work with language and names...also because I am done doing maps. I have worked it out to the best of my ability but I do not mind commissioning someone to make a much better version because my maps suck... so If you guys know someone who does some good ones point them out to me pretty please (or if you can draw maps please I will pay you).
I did a tag sorta that did but I just answered her questions I do not have any of my own and don't want to bother anyone with any:
1) What is your favorite snack?
I don’t really snack unless I am at the movie theater, and even then I don’t always get something besides a drink. But when I do want a snack there I get something chocolatey.
2) How satisfied are you right now?
Pretty darn satisfied, worked hard outside this morning and now I have the rest of the day to do what I want.
3) What's your weirdest encounter (in real life or internet)?
It probably would have had to been the time I went to the bank to withdraw some money and this woman was yelling and cussing out the bank tellers slamming her hands on the window blaming them for all her troubles. Sooo I grabbed my money from the machine and left before she came over my way.
4) Who's your waifu?
What is waifu?
5) Do you have a favorite movie? Alternatively, what have you seen recently that's been good?
I have too many favorites a good old movie I saw recently was The Mummy and a good new movie I recently saw was The Angry Birds Movie. The Mummy was the one with Brenden Fraser because I know for a fact that there is an older one I still have to see… and The Angry Bird Movie was a surprise I was wondering how they could make a movie from a app game but it turned out to be hilarious and adorable.
6) What's your favorite art style/movement? (It doesn't have to be "fine arts" related)
Definitely Anime/Manga style, backgrounds and persons a like…
7) If you had a superpower, what would it be?
The power to…think… of a power…to have…
8) Do you have a favorite place to be?
Outside of the Pacific Northwest… hands down Disneyland.
9) What's a valuable piece of advice you have for others?
Treat others with kindness.
10) Lifesavers: Gummies or Hard Candies?
11) Describe your ideal home (in as much or as little words!).
“It’s just a house.” -Mr. Fredrickson.
12) Do you have a favorite fictional character "archetype"? (Or kind of character; can be in terms of appearance, personality, etc)
Without any knowledge of how to say it properly… I like the kinds of characters who are secretly the bad guy… but not it is not obvious to anyone… like the bad guy in Sherlock Holmes Games of Shadows and Palpatine from Star Wars… So many characters are blind to it and WE know it… I like those kinds of characters that keep you going until the big reveal.
Also a fan of redeemable characters, ones who were bad and then turn good eventually or have some good in them and they just suck at being bad.
13) Balloons or bubbles?
Today I cleaned out the pool with my brother to get that going for this week because it is going to get hot and we are beginning to watch a bunch of movies outside on our projector... which we are going to do again tonight ^_^... and that is pretty much everything, how are all of you?
I don't want you to lose time for me but, if you really feel like drawing something for me, I'd be happy to see whatever you feel like drawing. Something from your world would be just cool! I like your stories a lot, so feel free to draw anything you like.
Thanks again for your kind thoughts!
Have a lovely day!
Aww okay ^_^
And I am fine thank you. What about you? Besides super busy.
(also you know you don't have to draw me anything, silly)
I'm glad you are fine ^_^ I'm well thank you.
I loved Angry Birds at first when Angry Birds the game came out I was like "...What?". Finally I gave it a try and it was fun, simple and cute. Saw all the various games that have come along and thought of them as ways to just milk more cash... even though that they are they are still fun
(the studio that makes them actually care about making things fun and stylish). Then I saw some of the episodes of the cartoon on youtube and netflix and they are just down right funny and cute.
The movie... I loved it, the characters were charming, the story was painfully predictable but enjoyable, it was funny, it even had some surprising humor that was meant to fly over the kids heads.
But yeah the movie is worth it I honestly wish I had it on dvd right now DX
